In 2018, a schism had formed in the Adeptes du Dunia. Large groups of peasants and non nobles were excommunicated by the church. These people would late form into The Sons of Dunia, and congregate in Dane County. The Adeptes Dunia believed this new group would not have Anir Dunar’s favor, and were furious and some even terrified when he granted their leaders blessings. Many of the Adeptes see this as direct heracy, and simply wish to see this group exterminated.
The clergy of this group are also democratically elected, but all can vote, which has attracted the scorn of some nobles. Despite this, many still vote for magic users; though they are usually born of magical ability, and not granted it by devotion to the gods.
