The Bezos are the closest to royalty to Chimazon, and although many think of the wealth, Rebecca thought of the responsibility. From a young age she was raised to understand the gravity of her position. This burden cause her to want to be the smartest possible person in the room since day one. Her mother taught her the importance of the market. Her father taught her the importance of people.
Most of her life was watching her mother help run Amazon, until age 31 when she was finally allowed to serve on the Board of Directors. Not taken seriously due to her lack of experience with the old guard, quickly Rebecca helped navigate huge branding concerns as Google finally gained a significant lead in the market. She was able to help even neighboring Chicagoans see the good that Amazon's products could bring with the ease of living, and has made strides to be at least mostly tolerated as a corporate state within the old borders of the United States.
At 35, she was named President of the Board thanks to some persuasive arguments and also finding a way to increase the revenue of the Netpads via recent enhancements of technology. She doesn't plan on relinquishing her position anytime soon, but also understands that ultimately, the post is temporary.
