Structure
All of the clans are matriarchal with one leader, the Matron, typically passed by family line unless someone truly doesn't want the title or does something that disqualifies them from being able to claim the title. If a clan is large enough and contains multiple families a council of elders will be chosen to advice the current Matron. While she can ignore these councilors she runs the risk of alienating members of the clan if she does so.
History
Triandia is one of the oldest established Selgino clans said to date back to the creation of the Selgino themselves. Their clan name is derived from the very trees that they live among.
