Telamont

A sentient spellbook belonging to Clarity. Telamont has been passed down through Clarity's family for generations, and is speculated to have been involved in the original pact that forged her bloodline. No one is quite sure if he is, in fact, the soul of their primogenitor, the being the pact was made with, or simply a being that was roped into the pact. He can communicate telepathically with Clarity and Gwydion , and more recently has been able to manifest physically outside of the book and can communicate with the rest of the Party now. Telamont does not remember his time with his previous caretakers, including Clarity's mother. These memories fade when he is bonded to a new wizard. The Party has speculated that Clarity's primogenitor may have been Netherese, given the nature of Clarity's bloodline and the goals of Netheril towards the end of its reign. This has been somewhat supported by Telamont's extreme discomfort in Tower Thultanthar.
