The Battle of Sodden Boots was a battle within the War of Red and Blue Poppies, fought near its conclusion.

The battle itself started fairly innocuous, with elements of both armies coming into contact on opposite sides of the river. For a short time, they simpy tried to ignore each other as the foraged for supplies, as neither side could efficiently cross to the other. It did not take long, however, for barbed jibes to be thrown back and forth. It's said that the Greniströnd were the first to hurl insults, as well as the first to open fire on the enemy resulting in a full-on clash.

From there, the size of the battle simply ballooned.
