Ysbail Llowarch
Lord of the March, Lady Protector, and Archmage Emeritus of the Council of High Magic Ysbail Llowarch (a.k.a. Yis)
Ysbail Llowarch was a famous elven archmage of the elven council of High Magics. She specialized in magic relating to the development of area effects. Most famous for her defense of elven realms during the necromantic wars, including great tales of her Bittac familiar named Strell.
She was made famous at the young age of 167 when she established the Haunting Cordon, a barrier level miles long and hundreds of feet wide, where anyone entering felt intense hunger pains and the extreme need to go to the bathroom. Not only did it help against the small scale skirmishes with goblinkind, it persisted for almost two decades without continuous arcane reinforcing.
She added at least 12 locations placed on the Poem of the Starlit Path, as well as created the Moon Wyrds of Borol, The Elemencia of Mount Heifon, and the Layers of Lycoun. She also pioneered integrating Spell Mantles with Wyrds and Mystic Engines. Ysbail reportedly had the only integrated Psycoactive membrane and Spell mantle. While it is only suspected, it may be that she was one of the principle creators of The Celestial Lenses.
