Extremiton, the Ulitharid

Extremiton leads the expedition of survivors from a mind flayer colony recently destroyed by an attacking Githyanki force. As an Ulitharid, Extremiton carries much of the knowledge from the colony's destroyed elder brain. It seeks to escape to the surface and establish a new colony there. Extremiton is currently in the Sea Deeps, a location in one of the lowest portions of Undermountain.
By reading an Illithid Mind Crystal in Kyorlamshin, House Tanor’thal's Fortress, Nymdor Oblodra has discovered that Extremiton is delaying his transformation into an Elder Brain to sate his curiosity about the surface world. Extremiton is building a simulation of Waterdeep known as Alterdeep by abducting surface dwellers and using psipods to download their thoughts.
