The Psions capture House Tanor'Thal's fortress

After exploring the city and meeting with the local Zents, the Psions team up with Thorvin, the Harper Spy and Drizzt Do'Urden, The Most Hunted Man in The Underdark. They kill the Illithids terrorizing Skullport from the abandoned Drow fortress perched above the city.

Upon arriving at Skullport, the Psions quickly meet Olive Stillwater, an old woman covered with snails and barnacles that sells zombies out of her cramped shop, Dead Man's Corner.   The city streets were quiet, except for the occasional patrol of a Xanathar Guild member acting as the city watch. Most of the city's homes and businesses seem shuttered or abandoned.   Rizzeryl introduces the party to the leader of the Skullport Zhentarim, Bosskyn Gorrb. He allows the party to stay, and rest at as his feast hall while they scope out the city. He offers the use of his flying snakes to deliver messages to people in Waterdeep on the party's behalf.   The gossipy proprietor of The Flagon and The Dragon, Cal’al, explained that the Xanathar guild has driven most businesses out of town. She answered any questions openly and honestly.   A visit to the Black Tankard proved more interesting than expected. The Xanathar Guild's thug, a fat, dour duergar named Droon Stonedark, was tending bar with two minotaurs acting as bouncers.   A wealthy and noble-looking elf named Lorcan had been eavesdropping on another table until he became very engaged in conversation with Gurren.   Thorvin, the Harper Spy was meeting in a large corner booth with Drizzt Do'Urden, The Most Hunted Man in The Underdark, to discuss the mind flayer problem in Skullport. Afterward, they meet separately with the party in Thorvin's shop and decide to cooperate.   After deducing that the mind flayers in town had taken over House Tanor'Thal's fortress, the party are accompanied by Rizzeryl and Drizzt to assault the abandoned outpost. Rizzeryl and Drizzt handle the spiders outside, while Gurren, Nymdor and Otho killed both mind flayers inside.   As the trio began to consider what to do about the two women trapped in the mind flayer hybernation chambers, Drizzt and Rizzeryl entered through the front doors of the fortress.   Secrets Discovered
