The Psions encounter a Zombie Beholder before clearing the final Xanathar Watch Post. They discover a stairway down to the third level of Undermountain, The Sarguath Level.
After searching several long and winding hallways, the scions discover a pair of rust monsters. Unsure if the monsters would be able to sense them through their invisibility spells, the trio of drow turn back and continue their search for the last watch post elsewhere. Unsure if the Beholder Zombie could see them, the scions hesitated to enter Dead Eye Watchpost. They explored another long straight hallway, that had a pair of ballistae pointed in their direction. Rather than face a hall of traps, they went back to kill the Beholder Zombie. After easily defeating Nadia and most of the bugbears at Dead Eye Watchpost, the Scions of House Oblodra had to force their way past a barricaded door to finish off the bugbears that had fled from the fight. Within the first secret room of the watchpost, the scions discovered another Arch Gate. They did not discover where it connects to. They noticed that carved into the arch’s keystone was an image of a rust monster. The Scions of House Oblodra discovered the way down to the third level of Undermountain, The Sarguath Level. There they expect to find House Auvryndar, a Menzoberranzan House that is preparing to wage an invasion of Skullport with the help of Bregan D'aerthe. Secrets Discovered
- There is an old armory in the Dead Eye Watch Post that Bregan D'aerthe may be able to use.
- House Auvryndar has territory on Level 3 and Level 10. They are considered paying clients.
