King Guthred
"King" Guthred is a claimant to the throne of Northumbria in the chaos that currently surrounds Yorvik. A noble, turned slave, freed and made noble again; he has lead and interesting life which took him through the highs and lows of Northumbrian life.
Now, Priests have claimed in prophecy that he is to be the chosen King of the Saxons in Northumbria and to bring Gods glory back into the land. This is slightly awkward as Guthred is a Pagan and a Dane.
The Warband assisted Guthred with securing his throne and he is now due to marry a Princess of Gwynedd to establish and alliance.
