The Sown Men

The Sown Men are a mercenary company headquartered in Xorhun, the southern capital of Turmish. They are renowned for their skills in battle, their unwavering bravery, and the large price their skill commands. When they are not under contract, the Sown Men act as the standing army of Turmish which itself is lead by the Colors, a small council of high ranking commanders within the company.
The Sown Men are famous for their colorful clothing, weapons, and armor. Their use of color represents the endless fields of wildflowers that are omnipresent in Turmish. In Turmish legend, the wildflowers were said to have grown from the bodies of their defeated enemies and as such, the Sown Men still carry wildflower seeds on their person during battles. A death that doesn't nourish new life is seen as a dishonor and the Sown Men routinely spread wildflower seeds over the bodies of their enemies and their own fallen.
