Turmish

Turmish is a Commonwealth that sits in between the Orsraun and Aphrunn Mountains, in the southern portion of the Sea of Fallen Stars. Turmish is known for its endless fields of wildflowers that cover nearly every part of the country. Its two main cities are Alaghôn and Xorhun.   Alaghôn is an ancient city that has been rebuilt and destroyed countless times. The inner ring of the city is mostly deserted but has long been rumored to hold dark secrets beneath the rubble of civilizations past. It is highly recommended that one stays out of the inner ring areas as they are not patrolled by guards. The outer section of Alaghôn is a bustling trade port. Turmish is known far and wide for their high quality dyes, which are made using the many wildflowers that cover the land. Most locals live in the outer rings of the city and travel to the docks each morning. Taverns, inns, and brothels are easily found by the docks, catering to both the local population and the many traveling folk who arrive by sea.   Xorhun is located north of the Halondar Valley and serves as the main gateway into Turmish from the South. As with most of Turmish, Xorhun is surrounded by large swaths of vivid wildflowers that cover the ground during the spring/summer months and turn to fields of tall grass during the fall/winter (although many flowers remain year-round). The outer walls are thickly covered in poisonous vegetation which makes scaling them a tough and certainly unpleasant task. Xorhun is the only way to enter Turmish from the south, by passing through the Halondar Valley. Almost equally famous as the the city itself, the Rose Sea is a field of red wildflowers that stretches for miles, starting just past the Halondar Valley and ending at the gates of Xorhun. It is said that the flowers that make up the Rose Sea were nourished by the decaying bodies of armies that tried and failed to invade Turmish.   Turmish is home to the Sown Men, a mercenary company that also acts as the informal army of the Commonwealth.
