Candleman's Gap

Candleman's Gap is the name for a broad pass, two day's walk to the north of the source of the river Ennonwater, which leads up to the High Tundra lands of Boreilia. No one can remember exactly who Candleman was, but tradition says that he once fled into the upper snow fields via this route, with enemies in hot persuit.
The Gap is one of the main routes for migrating game, including great herds of woolly mammoths in their season, and as such it is a prime hunting ground for the tribes that normally dwell further south.
