The Council of Mages

The Council of Mages was the ruling body of the Kingdom of Snowborne, supporting the Mage King. It was open to only the most powerful of the mages in the kingdom and it required the sponsorship of at least two existing council members before a new member could join their ranks.
There were no fixed numbers, and at different times the council had as few as twelve members and many as thirty.
