The Pali's earn their forgiveness and party gets some new leads

With the path for their atonement laid out the party heads to Gutterdor, where they find the town being besieged by weights. These weights should not exist, as up to now all know weights were from humanoid corpses, not animals or even a dragon.

Breaking the siege the team admits to the slaughter of the towns advance party, and offered to find the cause themselves, on top of restricting the Orc Paladin they slew. The elder of the town pointed them to the crypts the town had been using for centuries.

After KT sacrificed an eye on the alter of Gruumsh they accessed the crypts, to find it overrun with undead. At the bottom they found a young half-orc necromancer trying to understand why undead loose their memories of life. He was being coached in his research by an aspect of Orcus who left behind a strage skull mace before disappearing.

When the party returned to Gutterdor, they learned some of Gornach's history; how he got involved with a Half-Orc named Yotul, how he slew his father trying to gain control of the clan, and his branding and banishment. Though the elder didn't know where his camp was they pointed the team to the dragon that lived on the top of the islands central mountain.
