To end the tyrany of the Tevinter Imperium.

History

A group known as The Freemen of the Dales, who had been at odds with the Tevinter Imperium for years, destroyed a fuel depot at the Orzammar Station. The Imperium took this chance to implement martial law on Kios restricting all access to trade and resources coming to and from the planet. While very few outright battles happened, there was still plenty of bloodshed. The Freemen's main goal was to disrupt daily functions in Tevinter through assassinations and the use of Lyrium explosives.

Disbandment

Many of the their leaders fled through The Imperial Highway at the end of the Lyrium War into the Frozen Sea. Now those who remain on Kios have gone underground with the hope of staying out of the spotlight
