Entri

Additive Race

Nearly any race can be an entri, as the corruption is primarily only within the soul. An entri is an entity that, rather than having their own fully independant soul, has their soul as an extension of the soul of another being, either due to being created from that being, or having their soul merged into the being's via a ritual or similar methods. Physical and mental corruption can occur from being an entri, typically taking on traits based on the soul they originate from.

Racial Magics

Due to the special connection that an entri has with their origin, the two individuals have a permanent telepathic link, though it is mechanically closer defined as simply sharing memories and thoughts within two partitions of the same mentalscape. This link also allows the two individuals to share mana between one another.
Should the entri be slain, they will not move on to an afterlife or similar realm by default, and simply continue to exist within the soul and mind of their origin until they are resurrected by some method, though if the entri is claimed by a divine being, their origin can choose to allow them to resurrect/revive as per usual by the divinity's policies.
Entri gain various abilities and quirks dependant on their origin, though the amount of abilities and what's gained is on an individual basis.

Creation of an Entri

Entri Magic, used by mages often referred to as Split-Souls, is used to create and utilize entri. True Entri is the term used when a split-soul takes a part of themselves and isolates it into a new entity, though methods such as absorbing the souls of others, or blending attributes of several souls within the assembly into a new individual, are also very common.
