Galan

Galans (Fire Eaters) Are exotic creatures that only inhabit smaller lands, such as the New World and Cratt. These creatures, unlike their name would suggest, aren't natural things, and instead are very otherworldly. They are vast, sometimes miles long creatures with limbs spanning the vast majority of it. They are suspended, however, far in the air and often unnoticed by passerby, as it blends with the night sky.   These creatures, for whatever reason, use their fairly large-sized hands to steal fire from campfires, leaving everything dark. Despite the seemingly non-aggressive behavior, you can make it angry by continuing to make fire. If one continues to make fire, even after the creature has stolen it multiple times, it will begin to get angry. It will slowly extend hands and steal things, bashing them against the ground before throwing them violently back.    If one continues to relight the fire, large hands will extend from the darkness and grasp at you. Typically people will scream and panic, but going into the darkness only kills you. Very quickly, the hands surround and grab you, taking you to wherever it takes the fire, finally taking the fire. This was observed by people on hills, looking down.   Theories as to what this creature is are sparse. Most accept the fact that it's simply natural. Others theorize that they're similar to Umibozus, others believe it is supernatural or perhaps undead. It is highly improbable that these creatures are natural, but they very well could be.    None of these creatures have ever been killed, and it's not known if it's feasibly possible. These creatures are exceptionally rare and only inhabit small islands. One can attempt to ward these creatures away by using potions with the property of Fire, but it isn't necessarily known to completely stop their attacks, only significantly lessen their rate.
