Unkalan

Unkalan, not to be confused with Lactons, are black, tall creatures with glowing red eyes. These creatures are very alive, unlike Lactons, and are a bit taller and less deformed, though one wouldn't tell that from the way it looks, as they are similar in shape to them, but are definitely not, as Unkalans are much rarer and are twice as difficult to kill.
Like said before, these creatures are black colored, tall yet not lanky creatures with glowing red eyes similar to Umibozu and Slinders. Despite that, there are many Unkalan that are quite lanky, colloquially known as "Little 'Uns", which are basically the same thing but skinnier, which is why they don't have their own article.
These creatures come out of thick bushes during the night. They roam areas rarely traveled by by people, typically a couple miles from isolated houses or paths, occasionally making hunting difficult, despite their rarity. They often stay far from settlements, however. 
Typically, if one encounters an Unkalan, he should target the right chest. The creature has a large artery on in, thin yet wide, a good target. This is best accomplished with a spear, but it can be accomplished with a sword. If one has an axe, the best spot is typically the brain if one can reach it, however this is typically not possible, as these creatures are commonly 8 feet tall. Another common target with an axe is the right shoulder. Sometimes one can even lodge the axe into the right pec, but it isn't common.
Not much else is known, however. These creatures, due to their rarity, are quite mysterious.
