Wyvern
Wyverns are rare, unusual, and uncommon creatures. If that doesn't mean anything, suffice it to say that one will most likely never see one in real life. These creatures live in the clouds and never come down, so the only way one would find one is if they had wings or were on high mountains. These mountains are typically the ones near Kerb and sometimes even the Gertrude Mountains.
Due to the lack of information on these creatures, not too much is confirmed. However, there are trends within accounts. It typically starts by seeing a small tube-like creature swiftly flying through the clouds in the distance, and over time, it comes closer and closer. It is often reported that seeing it is quite scary, as you think it is smaller than it actually is, and as it approaches, you realize how big it really is.
As it approaches, the person or people it's approaching are typically terrified and has their weapons out. Finally, the Wyvern reveals itself, and attacks by charging through the air at high speeds. Dodging it wields good results, as it lowers the rest of the long body to be attacked for a short interval. Typically, a Wyvern will leave after the first hit, or successfully killing one person. However, there have been exceptions.
One such example revolves around the fact that one of the people managed to strike a blow that made it bleed profusely. It soon left, but the man tracked the trail of blood and found it's carcass around a mile away. This was likely due to hitting a vital organ, perhaps a heart. He looted the creature, butchering some meat and taking several talons, which was how he was able to confirm it. The talons were used as a trophy and as an pommel for his sword for him.
Another such case was where the Wyvern continued to strike over and over, eventually chasing down the only survivor of the group that encountered it down the mountain, and the savage creature left him alone.
These creatures have quite an interesting appearance, too. They are like long tubes that turn and twist, rapidly speeding through clouds. Their faces are dragonlike, and their claws are like bird talons, but much harder and much more dangerous. They are typically white and/or green, but it can vary wildly. Their two wings are fairly large, but they are far too little to logically support the long creature.
