Ol' Dunkin

Ol' Dunkin is a man who lives in the area near the mining town, but outside. People aren't exactly sure how he survives out there. He was part of a group of rangers who were ambushed by some viscious wildlife. Two were killed, and his best friend was being eaten in front of him as he froze. His friend was screaming for help as the rest of the team pulled Dunkin away. He will never forgive himself and still hears the screams in his nightmares. When they got back, he became dispondent and withdrawn. He eventually moved outside, in an effort to punish himself. Somehow, he has figured out a way to live alone out there. Members of his old troop will sometime leave him equipment, such as water or air purifiers that might have broken down for the settlement, but he may use as spare parts. One of his old friends always leaves a packet of dried food outside before the gates close for the night. Even if it's not picked up that night, it's always gone within a day or two. Almost no one ever see's Ol'Dunkin. He's actually seen as a bit of a boogy man. Sometimes he has helped the settlement, unbeknownst to them.
