Night Mithral

A chainmail shirt of black, mithral links that trails a long cloak of writhing shadows. Bonus. +1 mithral chainmail. Benefit. Once per day, you create a bubble of darkness around you (20'), normal light is extinguished (party torches). You may see in complete darkness as if you had a torch. You are the only one that that can see in the bubble.  Once it is activated, it will last 24 hours.  It will stop immediately in sun light. Special Note: if a darkness spell is cast you may see normal (if activated). This ability only works in the dark, in sunlight the power is negated.  History: this armor is made by the Under elves. exclusively.

History

This mithral chain was created in the dark forges of the under elves.  What ever dark magic is produced to make such armor, it is a closely guarded secret among the armor smiths of the Underdark.
