Temple of Achlys
The third “floor” is sacred area where Achlysites and those who wish to become Achlysites show their respect and reverence for the darkness that birthed them. This is a place to give offerings of blood and flesh while rejecting their old lives in order to become new creatures. A constant purple glow illuminates the temple, an ever-present mist of Nether rolling along the floor to restore and replenish. In the center of the altar is a 15-foot replica of Achlys while smaller, 7-foot statues line the sides of the temple. Crafted from marble and amethyst, they glow with the power of The Nether, eager for the sincere devotion of the children of the dark. Beyond a purple shroud at the back of the temple is the entrance to the fourth “floor”.
