Aesalir
Aesalir is in the western grasp of the Midlands and has been a place of mystery and danger for centuries. It is known that many of the Giants and other Fell that escaped the Last Battle or deserted the Elder when they marched to the east came to rest in these parts. For that reason, it’s history is mainly composed of tales of tragedy, adventure and horrors. Many are the heroes and villains who entered into these lands in centuries past whom were never heard from again.
The region is very wet and yet is cooled from the drafts off the SEA OF WINDS. Nestled between two mountain ranges that turn back much of the moisture from the Sea of Winds, sparing the eastern inlands, the region is soaked in rain and filled with rivers and waterways. The constant moisture permeates the soil and the air resulting in a recurring cycle of fog banks.
