57 ET | Spring In the Spring, a Vukra raiding party composed of three longships attacked and devastated the settlement. All of the defenders who were not slain were abused most horribly before being executed and mounted on the settlement gates. Another group, composed of tracking hounds and raiders, attempted to wipe out the women and children who had fled the settlement at the onset of the massacre. The refugee group lost a number of children and women to the arrows and rending jaws of the hunting party. But they were saved from annhilation by the arrival of the COMPANIONS. Those raiders that were not slain escaped into the wilds. It was the COMPANIONS that backtracked their way to CELLIGSUND and discovered its smoldering ruins.
