The Labyrinthine Sculpture Garden of Rhuvael

At A Glance

The VERDANCE is a walled woodland park within Rhuvael that is tended by the devotions and prayers of the (Order of Earth Knights). It is a frequent place for quiet assignations, sunlit walks, and solitary thinking. All of those activities cower from the holiday festivals & dances that take place within it on a seasonal basis. Many of these festivals have aspects of old fertility cults and other vanished theology which the Church tries to lend a blind eye to in good years.

The Sculpture Garden

One of the most storied sights in the Verdance is the sculpture garden. It was begun early in the formation of Rhuvael by a famed sculptor and many features were added to the narrow trails and hidden paths within the VERDANCE. After the passing of the sculptor, the appearance of new sculptures continued unabated with some pieces changing locations or being replaced entirely by new sculptures. The manner or reason for this is unknown though there are many myths.

Involvements

55 ET|QUEENS TOURNAMENT- During a free day, Sera Telayra brought Ser Kalawun to the Verdance as it was a favorite location of hers when she was a child. While there, KALAWUN retrieved some of her favorite flowers but was interrupted when one of the statues slid aside to reveal a passageway below. From the opening, Ser Cynhaern Araeris emerged in muddied and stained war leathers. He advised Kalawun and Telayra that it would be best for all if no mention of this was made to anyone. Later, Kalawun went back with his friend and attempted to locate the mechanism to move the statue aside but were unable to find it.
