Pesspira Griphons
Dedicated to a life of purity and justice, the Pesspira Griphons had existed for centuries within the Forgotten Realms. They carried themselves with pride and fought for justice for all who existed. Their basic beliefs were founded on the notion that all beings possessed a pure good, something that needed to be protected at any cost against the evil that worked ceaselessly to poison it. Given over to an unflinching sense of self-sacrifice, they believed it their duty to preserve this goodness by any means necessary, even if it meant sacrificing themselves in the process.
Structure
The Baron - Leader of the Pesspira Gryphons. The Baron is Strong and well trained in his position. The Baron was origionally appointed according to family ties, but with times changing in the new realm, little is understood or known about the Griphons or their hierarchy.
Council - Council were a small handful of members that worked right under the hand of the Baron. They were seen as trusted advisors and scholars in the Pesspira Gryphons.
Falwings - The brawns and the brains, the Falwings were highly respected by many. They gathered information and lead many battles for victory of peace.
Theradins - The educators of the Gryphons, the Theradins helped shape the future of the Pesspira Gryphons.
Culture
In a world where the darkness was always threatening to extinguish the brightest light, the Griphons wished to protect that world from it's own demise. They didn't care if it was the world's own evil intentions that brought them to that point. They believed the evil was just like an infection that needed to be fought in order to save the host— even if they had to bring themselves down with it, simply so someone else might have a chance at life. They had no self preservation over life preservation, but trained to be great fighters that could survive to accomplish great feats.
Public Agenda
The Pesspira Griphons were selfless beings who viewed the good of all life with a boundless curiosity. Because of this, they searched for ways to purify the world and eradicate evil. They believed that in order for society to have a future without fear, they had to stop the evil at it's core. The promise was not completely altruistic because they wished to preserve their society so that their descendants would be safe from darkness.
They took it upon themselves to guide people to believe the way they did. They wanted the world purified and in order to do so, they need to convince society to follow their beliefs.
