Lyonese culture is infamous for it's indulgent life style. On the outside they are percieved as a shallow people, disillusioned by their own greed and want for the finest things in life. Their self styled belief that they are the senior power across the Entherlands has made resulted in confrontations with Kingdom of Brethia and Eire.
Despite their public opinion, they do show more tolerance within their community. Fairfolk are treat in the same regard than the human natives of Charlyon. They embrace the "exotic" cultures of other Kingdoms, with the exception of their neighbouring kingdoms.
Assets
Charlyon is known for it's beautiful trading in both clothing and goldsmithing. Charlyon's capital Liroux was established close to a bountiful gold mine which has resulted in the city seeing immeasurable wealth. This natural resource has resulted in Liroux becoming desirable in the past, most notably being a target for the Emperor of Oskuwa during the "One Hundred Year War" between the Kingdoms residing in the continent of Entheria and the Oskuwan Empire which at the time dominated the continent of Owai.
