Candleglass
Not all Otonomoi are born with equal low-light vision. Some, especially those born during both Auroras (further so the Aurora of Era), struggle to see in the dark. Thankfully, even these individuals do not struggle so much as the Humans, but it can still lower ones quality of life.
To this end came the development of Candleglass and the subsequent Candleglasses by one Otonomoi man by the name of Benjamin Hephaestus, of that famed line of inventors.
A form of Glimglass, heavily refined so as to come out mostly clear, though most varieties (particularly the cheaper lenses, or conversely the stronger prescriptions) retain some colored tint. Only the most expensive lenses come out perfectly clear.
When worn, the glasses provide the wearer with vision similar to if the wearer was holding a small glimglass pane, or holding a belt lantern to illuminate the surrounding area. Currently, the increased vision doesn't pass the higher percentile of vision within the wider Otonomoi population, but it can bring the lower up to the level of the general population.
Particularly affluent Otonomoi, and most Humans, will have window panes made out of Candleglass, providing a rather illuminated living space.
Many militaries make use of Candleglass as well, as it provides far better sightlines than just relying on the eyes of the common soldier.
