Peldan's Helm
The Hamlet of Peldan's Helm comprised stone cottages that were encircled by tall stone walls. Due to the inherent danger of the region, citizens would go about their daily lives of farming and woodcutting in large bands, finding increased safety in numbers.
Due to the rather open area, compared to the more forested dales, the region around Peldan's Helm had been the site of many battles over the centuries. As a result, many of the town's bolder farmers and woodcutters would often come across such finds as prized treasure, valuable relics from long-past conflicts, or the occasional hastily dug mass grave.

Demographics
All the inhabitants of the hamlet claimed descent from its founder, Peldan Faern. These citizens were, in large part, people of the forest, that is rangers, hunters, and woodsmen. Among these were a number of furniture makers, carvers, and other woodworkers, who practiced their craft within the safety of the town's walls. Those courageous enough to venture out of their protection were well-warned to do so armed and with capability to cry alarm and call for help should any danger prove more than they could handle.

Points of interest
Meeting Hall:
This building was the favored meeting place for discussions regarding all the important matters within the town, served as a rallying point for the local militia, and housed religious services for the good-aligned, and nature-related deities. Peldan's greatsword and his helm were hung with pride from its rafters.
The Full Pint:
The Full Pint is a run-down and desolate tavern located in the Hamlet of Peldan's Helm. The tavern is a single-story building with a sagging roof, boarded up windows, and a sign with a chipped mug of ale hanging precariously over the door.
Inside, the tavern is a mess, with overturned tables and chairs scattered around the room, broken bottles and mugs littering the floor, and signs of a recent violent struggle. The once-friendly atmosphere has been replaced by a sense of fear and unease, as evidenced by the hushed whispers of the few remaining patrons.
Behind the bar, the bartender, a grizzled and nervous dwarf named Gort, serves up drinks to a handful of customers. The bar is sparsely stocked, with only a few bottles of questionable quality spirits left. The menu, once offering a variety of hearty dishes, has been reduced to a few stale loaves of bread and a pot of watery soup.
In one corner of the room, a group of wounded and traumatized survivors huddle together, recounting the horrors they faced when the monsters invaded the tavern. The walls and floor are stained with blood, and the air is thick with the stench of death and decay.
Despite the damage, there are signs of hope that the tavern can be salvaged. Gort and the remaining patrons are determined to rebuild and restore the tavern to its former glory. They are calling on brave adventurers to help them reclaim the tavern and rid the town of the monsters that have taken up residence.
Overall, The Full Pint is a shadow of its former self, but it still retains a glimmer of hope that it can be restored to its former glory. It is a place for brave adventurers to step up and help the people of the hamlet reclaim their beloved tavern and restore peace to their community.
Graceful Dear Hunting Lodge:
The Graceful Deer Hunting Lodge is a spacious and elegant hunting lodge located on the outskirts of the Hamlet of Peldan's Helm. The lodge is nestled in a grove of tall trees, surrounded by rolling hills and pristine forests.
Despite its once-grand appearance, the hunting lodge is now in a state of disrepair, with the wooden shingles of the roof missing in places and the walls and floors covered in dust and cobwebs. However, the faded elegance of the lodge can still be seen in its polished wooden floors, ornate carvings, and stained glass windows.
The main hall of the lodge is a grand room, with a large stone fireplace dominating one wall and comfortable armchairs and sofas arranged around the room. Mounted animal heads and antlers adorn the walls, testament to the lodge's long history of successful hunts.
Off the main hall, there are several private guest rooms available for rent. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with large four-poster beds and antique furnishings. However, like the rest of the lodge, they are in need of some repairs and cleaning.
The surrounding woods and hills are teeming with game, making it an ideal location for hunting parties.
