Tessalar's Tower
Tessalar's Tower is a tall, slender structure located at the southwest corner of Sul Street and Chasso's Trot in the northeast section of Waterdeep's Sea Ward. The tower was once the home of the powerful wizard Tessalar Hulicorm, who is now missing under mysterious circumstances.
The tower's exterior is made of dark stone and adorned with intricate carvings and symbols. The main entrance to the tower is a heavy wooden door with a large brass knocker shaped like a dragon's head. The tower stands several stories tall, with narrow windows that look out over the surrounding city.
Upon entering the tower, visitors are greeted with a large, open foyer with a spiraling staircase that leads to the upper levels. The walls are adorned with tapestries and paintings depicting magical creatures and arcane symbols.
The tower was known to be Tessalar's laboratory, filled with books, scrolls, potions, and magical artifacts. The top floor of the tower was Tessalar's personal living quarters, where he would entertain guests and conduct private magical experiments.
One of the tower's most intriguing features is the special gate in the basement that leads to the Vault of the Dragon, a dwarven abandoned vault that once housed the stolen gold stashed by Dagult Neverember. The vault is said to be heavily guarded by magical traps and creatures, making it nearly impossible to breach.
The disappearance of Tessalar has left many wondering what could have happened to the powerful wizard. Some believe he may have been kidnapped or taken by powerful forces seeking his knowledge and power. Others speculate that he may have stumbled upon something dangerous or even betrayed by her own magic.
Regardless of the reason for his disappearance, Tessalar's Tower remains an intriguing and mysterious landmark in the city of Waterdeep, drawing visitors and adventurers alike to explore its secrets and uncover the truth behind its former owner's fate.
