Personal history
Quinnan Glenfellow, son of Alton Glenfellow and Thea Glenfellow had always been fascinated by the way things worked. From helping to fix the axels on his father’s cart, to watching the local blacksmith forge weapons, he had an itch to take things apart and put them back together. Living life on their farm, he found little use for this spark of curiosity. At around 20, his mother passed away due to illness. His father, in his grief, withdrew into himself and could not live with the memories of his now deceased wife. They sold the farm and moved to Farbrook to make a living some other way. His father took a job in the local tavern, and Quinnan found work at the blacksmith, while not the strongest, his mind came up with inventive solutions.
On his days off, his curiosity drove him to the tinkerers shop, where he would spend hour after hour asking questions, his curiosity never ending. After a few months of this, the tinkerer Gulthric offered a permanent position as his apprentice. Quinnan accepted and began to learn all he could, learning to create small trinkets, mechanical constructs, and entertaining fireworks. Due to illness, Quinnan’s father passed away and Gulthric became the father figure in his life. This continued for many years, until one fateful day The Divine Path visited the shop.
Quinnan would never forget that moment.
It was a bright sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. Quinnan was working on his current commission, a small clockwork dragon for a child in town. The shops bell rang as three people, all identically dressed in white and red robes, walked through the door. A short male dwarf, long red-brown beard tucked into his belt, led the way, closely followed by a tall elven woman and a smaller elven man. They introduced themselves as being members of The Divine Path and asked to see his master. Quinnan fetched Gulthric and goes back to his commission as Gulthric asked the group how he could help. The group explain who they are and their purpose, asking Gulthirc to close his shop for a substantial amount of money. As the conversation continued, Gulthric became increasingly agitated, refusing to close his shop and give up the only livelihood he had ever known. With the answer not to their liking, the elven woman turned to her two companions and calmly said “he’s not going to do this peacefully, burn it down and make an example of them both”. The male elf swiftly grabbed Gulthric and pulled him outside. The dwarf, moved across the room to Quinnan as he stood scared stiff. The dwarf yanked his arm and pulled him out behind his master. The elven woman followed them out of the door and spoke to the small crowd that had now gathered “this is what happens to those that don’t follow our lord’s way, let this be a lesson to you all”. With that, she turned to her companions and swiftly swung her mace into Gulthric’s back. A loud crack filled the air as he shrieked in pain, his legs now useless beneath him. Looking at Quinnan, she said to the dwarf “only maim him slightly, he will live to spread the word”. With that, the dwarf drew out a small hand axe, and with one clean swing separated Quinnan’s left arm from his body. The elven woman then nodded to the elven male, who dropped Gulthric to the ground, before turning and sending a fireball through the shops window. The group from the Divine Path then left, leaving Quinnan and his master lying in the dirt, their shop burning to ash behind them.
From that day, Quinnan vowed to never give up on his master’s dream, he would develop technology to help the world, and prove this Divine Path were wrong. After a few weeks, when he was healed, he headed to his masters burnt shop and retrieved his secret project, a suit of arcane armour, from the basement it miraculously having survived the fire. He paid one last visit to his master, now bed bound to wish him well and tell him he would find those that did this.
He then left the town to develop his work, crafting and developing advanced prosthetics along with his arcane armour, so that he may help those that truly need it. He started with a wheelchair, designed specifically for his master. Each year, he visits his master at his new home/hideout in Clinston to wish him well and show him his developments.

Quinnen met Zorya in the Staggering Hoard. He has taken a job with the Path Beaters to fund his inventions in order to help people.
Keeping himself to himself mostly, he likes to drink to numb the mental pain but doesn't let himself go.
