Description

Iseult is a Water Genasi who stands 5'4'' tall, has blue-ish skin, and wavy, watery, gravity defying hair. She can come across as a bit curmudgeonly as she is quick to complain about things, but as her friends will attest, she is also quick to make a quip, and quite excitable when it comes to adventure.
In combat, she is usually equipped with her mithral splint armour, shield, and a mace at her waist. She takes on a supportive role, empowering her allies with her magic and her commanding voice.

History

Iseult was born to older parents, her father being an ex-sailor. She grew up in Steelgrove with aspirations to become an adventurer, learning some martial skills in her teenage years. At the age of 20, she gathered a group of adventurers and set out into the world. They saw moderate success for a couple of years, but the end of the group came following the untimely death of Iseult's Dwarven friend and member of the group Dulman Korcutter. Iseult made her way back to Steelgrove with an empty heart in need of filling.
Driven by the death of her friend, Iseult joined the Church of the Vigilant guard and began her Clerical studies. She figured that if this is what it felt like to lose somebody, then the ability to protect those close to you must be important indeed. Iseult showed a natural aptitude for Divine Magic, especially the ability to command others with her words. The desire to protect, command, and enforce lead her to joining the Arcane Legion at the age of 32. She was taken on board readily, as she was highly recommended by other clergy, and was generally well respected in Steelgrove.
In the year 212 MR, Iseult accompanied 5 Tristharum Elites on an expedition into the wastes: Cassandra Tuani, Avanelle Althem, Kinell Withers, Grigor Lester, and Angelica Breeden. Arriving at a destroyed temple, Iseult didn't participate in the investigation but was there to help fight off the fiendish creatures inside. Iseult was sworn to secrecy, but later revealed her involvement when she came to know Val.
45 years later, a newly retired Iseult helped a group of adventurers investigate Skulker activity in Steelgrove.
