Hammerfest

Hammerfest is an annual crafts festival held in the Dwarven Quarter of Ironshore, where craftspeople from across all reaches of the world gather to display their skill. Some participate to gain wealthy patrons as sponsors for future business endeavors, and some are simple amateurs participating for personal enjoyment.
Hammerfest features numerous head-to-head competitions, from blacksmithing shows to see who can create the best swords, jewelcrafting competitions, wood-carvings, and almost any other form of handcraft one could think of.
For those that do not wish to compete for fame, and instead come to setup shop and sell their many wares, the streets of The Dwarven District are almost completely lined with market stalls during Hammerfest. If it can be made by hand, you can find it during Hammerfest.
Crafts aren't the only thing being sold however, as many master artisans come to run workshops and sell their knowledge, in an attempt to keep their traditions alive through the generations. Everything from beginner classes, to masterwork detailing is offered, even for the most obscure of crafts.
For the patrons of Hammerfest, there are numerous attractions avaliable as well. Food and drink are plentiful and run almost at no cost, being paid for by various donations from generous benefactors. Live music and performances are common as well, often depicting scenes of mock war, or humerous depictions of shop accidents.
There is also a wrestling tournament held on the fourth night, held in traditional dwarven fashion. Competitors dress in naught but their undergarments, and the winner is declared when one pins both of their opponents shoulders to the ground. The winner is given a handcrafted crown from Oren Stonehammer himself.
Overall, Hammerfest is a glorious affair that attracts artisans, customers, merrymakers, and everything in between. It offers a joyous atmosphere, where people gather to forget their woes of the past yea.
