Heldrica, Queen of Dawnlight

The Queen of Dawnlight has ruled the Dawnlight Court for centuries. She is avaricious and collects everything she feels will bring her and her court benefits in the future.

I first visited the human realm before humans rode horses. I watched as the Romans developed skills to protect their horses’ feet. So when ignorant peasants started treasuring those bent pieces of metal, I made sure I had a collection of different sizes.

She wore golden wings covered in gems of every colour, and her black hair was built up into the shape of a crown on top of her head.

Sitting very upright on the gleaming metal throne on the dias at the opposite end of the room was a lady with a diadem round her temples. The light flickered off the many large gems embedded in it, sending multi coloured reflections onto everyone in attendance.
