Guerilla tactics are the typical choice for Sycorax Free Alliance commanders, but Captain Steele's background with the Sycoran Martial Council make him an oddity within the SFA.
Captain Steele utilizes his squadron focus on low-to-zero g and EVA combat during fleet actions.
History
The Astral Blades were founded early on in the Sycoran Civil War. They initially operated with a skeleton crew and meager resources but after numerous victories in spite of their logistical deficit, they began to be recognized by the higher-ups in the SFA. Eventually, they became a face of resistance for the people of the Sycorax System.
When the Sycorax Free Alliance acquired a defected ace pilot from the Sycoran Martial Council, it was a propagandistic no-brainer to put him in charge and show that even former loyalists could become SFA.
