Wisps are departed spirits with only minor regrets, and as such are not able to take the full humanoid (or otherwise) form that they did in life. Usually they appear as a small ball of blue fire. They are capable of speech.

Wisps can be found often lingering around areas with high concentrations of magic along with fairies. When questioned why, they simply respond that they feel "drawn" there.
