Fields of Splendor

Boisterous laughter and raucous singing fill your ears. Fey creatures of all types litter the clearing: centaurs, dryads, satyrs, elves, pixies, nymphs, and other creatures. Flowers in vibrant shades are bountiful, some vividly glowing. A fallen tree towards the back edge acts as a table that’s covered in various foods and drinks. In the center of the clearing is a tree stump that’s been polished to act as a sort of dance floor. Everywhere you look, the creatures seem unbothered by anything around them, simply focused on one action: dance.
Located in the Summer Court, the Fields of Splendor is aptly named due to the amount of awe and joy it can instill in those who frolic through it. Instead of trees, soaring flowers reach towards the crystalline skies of sunrise. The true appeal to this particular spot is a clearing located in the heart of the fields. It acts as a meeting place for various fae to simply drink, feast, and dance. While not malicious, these parties can prove particularly dangerous for mortals who could easily be charmed to dance until they die.   Whimsical Gift: While most fae alive only remember the Fields of Splendor with the tree-sized flowers, it wasn’t always this way. Hundreds of years ago, a druid was searching for a way to reach the skies in hopes of harvesting a piece of a cloud. While unable to master a spell that would allow him to fly, he did learn of a spell to simply make the plants grow. So off to the fields he went, standing in the coordinates that he believed would put him in the perfect spot to pick off a piece of a cloud. Casting the spell, he only intended to grow one flower, but instead caused the entire field to grow. It's unknown whether the druid ever got a piece of a cloud, but his magic on the plant-life has remained permanent.   Dance Until You Die: Located in the center of the fields is a clearing that never seems to get quiet. This is because it is the central meeting spot for fae from all over to get together and party until they no longer can. The instruments that play the music have been enchanted with magic to help loosen listeners. While relatively harmless to fae, it can prove dangerous to mortals, charming them to dance until they die. Mr. TIbbles, a rabbit-folk, is in charge of organizing the refreshments and music. There is a cover charge of 1 gold per person that he collects, however, it allows you entrance for eternity. Though potential party-goers should be wary about trying to sneak in. The area is warded to only allow people with his marking to enter. If anyone else were to try, a barrier would simply rebuff them.
