The Peacock Family

The Peacock family is a noble family of The Kingdom of Sheora, primarily seated in the capital of Sanlow. Family lore suggests that the name came from the sighting of a peacock by a matriarch in the years before the family was established, and the family has gained a reputation for excessive vanity and resulting mockery/disdain in the years since. This reputation extends even to the parts of the family settling far away from the capital, leading to some disapproval for the "main" patriarch and his immediate family by uncles, aunts, and cousins within the Peacocks. Peacocks are relatively commonly found throughout Sheora, and though there isn't a lot of infighting within the family, there's also not a lot of cameraderie in most parts of the kingdom.
