The House of Opulence

Write about a building that has been reused and repurposed from its original design. The House of Opulence is the HQ of the pirate city Freetown and Brienne The Wild who runs the city by taking a cut from everything that happens in the city, which varies from goods coming in and out of the port as well every other business in the city from trade stalls to taverns. The House of Opulence was changed by Jenny the Yellow Eye from the Temple of the Married Couple to trading building as well as a place to gain a audience with Brienne The Wild. It stands an top of the highest point in the city and over looks the sea and across the land around the land outside the walls. It lies over the former underground catacombs. Thou they say dead has been untouched some say they have been moved for storage for various contraband.

Purpose / Function

The intened purpose was a place of worship to the God and Goddess of Order and has the burial catacombs under the building and goes out for miles.

Alterations

A few extensions have been put on the sides for storage. The building has been taking over by Pirates and used as the main building for Freetown.

Architecture

It is shaped as a tetradecagon (14 sides) and has a dome on the top which has windows just below it and a walk way around. On 12 sides there are single doors with images and representations of 12 of the Pantheon Gods and Goddesses. The other 2 doors are large double doors that that have representations of the God and Goddesses of Order.

There are still religious tourism and thou it's not encouraged there is money made by the family who give tours of certain parts of the catacombs.
