Ai
Ai is a high ranking courtesan from The Golden Cape. Known as one of the Seven Wise Women of the Pleasure District, she is well connected with the aristocracy. Popular rumour has it that she was born into a branch of the Kinoshita Clan that were thrown out of the imperial court over a century ago. She is said to have been a lover of the last emperor, Akihiko.
A skilled dancer and musician, Ai is a prominent figure in the former capital and is regarded as one of the most important and knowledgeable women in the city.
