Furuyama Clan

The Furuyama are a large clan who control Izumo Province including their namesake, The Old Mountain. Their primary residence is Ittoyama, a fairly large town on the western slope of the mountain. The clan was a member the Ju-kinai and remained loyal to the imperial line until the mysterious deaths of their leader, Sadanori, and his eldest son, Mitsunori in the year 567. In the following years, the clan descended into a brutal civil war between Sadanori's legitimate son, illegitimate sons, and his two younger brothers. FAMILY TREE NOT AVAILABLE
