Kuma
The Kuma are an ethnic group who inhabit the Kumao region in western Fusō. Formerly a nomadic culture, they were pushed into the small region they now inhabit by the powerful clans in the Ten Provinces. Surrounded by the powerful Miyamoto Clan in Koshi Province and the hostile Iwakura Clan in Shimōsa Province, their numbers have dwindled severely and they are at great risk of losing their remaining territory.
They have many cultural similarities with the Jōmon people who also predate the emergance of the Yayoi as the dominant ethnic group in Fusō.
