Inner Lands
Of smoke and ash, a place where few dare tread for here lies fire; here is death.
Welcome to where the flame-things roam, where life begins and ends in stone. All within the coin-sun's reach. This poem is like an ear-bound leech.
Geography
Hot. The Inlands are very, very hot. The sun aligns with the Flying Flux on a biannual rotation, reigniting the center of the Inner Lands and any unfortunate souls unable to withstand its heat. The climate of this scorched desert becomes slightly more livable as one continues away from its center, though few will dare even approach these areas for fear of crossing paths with an Inland monster.
Fauna & Flora
No life is able to survive the innermost reaches, save for a few very well-adapted Fluxers and Demigods. The Flying Flux rotates on an axis around its sun, leaving only the assumed vertex of the C-shape it adopts to be permanently trapped in the great coin's heat. However, while the rest may suffer a biannual scorching due to this design, the two odd quarters of the year become a cooler season where merchants and explorers may survive a brief trek.
