Crazy Crossbow Lady
She was an apparent second-in-command of the troop of tribesman who ambushed the caravan on the party's second night on the road.1 She had some unknown relation with the centaur who led the charge, though she screamed out in anguish upon his death and hysterically threw herself into attacking Fritz, whom she thought was responsible for his death.
When CCL was one of the few of her people left alive, Fritz attempted to subdue her into surrendering and explaining the situation, as the caravan was entirely confused why they had been the target of an ambush of tribesmen screaming "kill the doppelgangers!" To this questioning she only responded with screams of "you will never take my identity, dopplers!", dropped her crossbow, and proceeded to saw off approximately half of her face with a dull dagger before Fritz managed to stop her. She was taken prisoner alongside the only other survivor of the ill-fated ambush, an archer whom the caravan would later discover was named Crow-eye.
CCL did not last long as a prisoner of the caravan.2 She refused to speak, and Drant, in an unfortunately amateur attempt at interrogation, pushed her far beyond her breaking point, killing and reviving her twice without so much as getting an answer out of her. Vincent Syndarkyl intervened, promising the poor woman that he would guarantee the release of her soul if she would cooperate. She gave the party what information she knew, then took place in a ritual combat (conjured by Vincent, fought by Drant) in which she perished and her soul was set free.
