Goliath Boi

Soular Power first encountered the entity they affectionately nicknamed "Goliath Boi" after the Vocantem, when they stumbled upon him and a few of his goonies looting the Soular Power Plant, apparently searching for something.¹ When confronted, Goliath Boi force-choked Gregory Hammstein (a magical combat technique typical of the Calooshiis), and laughed off Jalan's attempt to bribe his crew. He claimed that they were just leaving, and led his men outside of the facility.

The party was lucky to discover Goliath Boi's men's attempt to force-trap them in the facility and gas them out before it was entirely underway, though he had already disappeared by the time the party's combat with his men ensued.

Upon investigating the facility after the combat, it was discovered that the Millennium Eye had apparently been embedded in the giant spider defender in the basement, and that it was suddenly missing. As the party had abandoned the facility a number of days beforehand, it is assumed but not known that it was found and pilfered by Goliath Boi and his crew.

Goliath Boi was encountered face-to-face once again outside of Mau, after the Soular Power Caravan fled Ambervern.² Self-assured and cocky, he announced that he'd followed the party's movements thanks to Jalan's decidedly illegal antics (i.e. "he met some interesting people who said something about oh, he stole all our money, blah blah..."). He demanded that the party hand over all of their money and the Millennium Artifacts in their possession, or he'd unleash his pet (a peryton) and archers and companion on them. Fritz laughed him off, and in the combat that ensued, he slipped away without the party noticing. The party has not encountered him or news of him since.
