Jarvis

Jarvis is a small humanoid construct, and was the assigned caretaker of the Soular Power Plant before it was became known as such. When the fledgling party (Fenfritz Swiftcog, Drant, Jalan Kendith, Varis, and Meghan Pinejumper) beat down the facility's mechanical defenses, Jarvis showed himself and asked for the party's assistance in restoring the facility's power - then led them into the generator room and locked them in until they could get the system running reliably again.¹

Jarvis conceded to Fritz as the new system administrator once power was restored, and now acts as a remote voice terminal for system control, and offers additional input and advice on party operation of the system. He often takes commands literally and to the extreme, for example initially attempting to cut Meghan's hands off at the wrists when ordered to release her from her shackles. As such his operations require some supervision.

Fritz harbors some concern that Jarvis houses a compromised back door to Soular Power Plant's internal system, as on multiple occasions he has gone rogue and executed commands that were not ordered by the party. Notably, during the Vocantem, he constructed the mechanical abomination hidden amongst the cryochambers which unleashed the Husks upon the facility.² Through some programmatic investigation, Fritz discovered potential tenuous ties to the entities cod3sm1th and Jarvis-Daemon.

When the party fled the facility after the Vocantem, Fritz had Jarvis manually shut down all non-essential operations and put the facility on full lockdown, which could only be lifted with the physical key that she had him program and which she now guards in her possession.³ Fritz also had him download a complete archive of the system at the moment the party evacuated, which he has still loaded in his system, for her to look at and potentially diagnose later.
