Session 18: To be, or not to be? Report

General Summary

The group witnessed all of the other ghostly figures in the kitchen disappearing; the instruments clattered to the ground, pots continued to boil and all of the dishes being prepared ceased moving. They investigated the kitchen office and discovered a mangled pile of bodies where the key was discovered.   They traveled back to Medrivh and spoke with him, returning the key and mentioning they were going to rest near the throne for the night. He offered assistance and summoned a magical mansion to house them for the night.   After resting, the group went on their next task; to visit the theatre and retrieve a "necklace" from the conductor. Making their way through the "portal" to the theatre they walked into a wide auditorium with a rather large stage in the back. Roughly 10 rows of seats that stretched across the 150ftx150ft area. Ghostly figures danced and performed on the stage as a nicely dressed ghost was "conducting" them. He called the adventurers forward to question them about story telling.   Picking a romance story, the group was asked questions about decisions the character should make during the play. Romulus and Jilianne was a popular folk tale about love and the sacrifices people make to achieve it. They answered the questions mostly wrong, and the conductor decided to not hand over the necklace. He did offer to potentially hand it over if they would sit through his newest play and give honest feedback; the group reluctantly agreed and sat down to watch the performance...
