Spell Scroll

Spell scrolls are one of the more common types of magic item found in the Sword Coast. Each spell scroll contains instructions on how to cast a magical spell, typically of 1st level or higher, and are crafted in such a way that casting that spell requires no additional material components. However, a spell scroll can only be used once, as casting the spell causes the scroll to be burned up and destroyed.
Spell scrolls are particularly valuable to wizards, as a wizard can copy the spell into their own spellbook, for a monetary cost, and from there they may cast the spell as they would normally.
