Kara-Tur (kah-rah-TOOR)

Kara-Tur was a continent lying east of Faerûn on Toril. Between Kara-Tur and Faerûn stretched the Hordelands for hundreds of miles.

Trade, people, and items occasionally arrived in Faerûn from Kara-Tur via the Golden Way, but beyond that there was little interaction between the continents.
